You have the month of August (or until the spots are full) to sign up to perform in our holiday show JingleBell Jukebox. This is a youth production. The 5-12 year olds will rehearse on Saturday’s 10:00 – 2:00. Our teens (13-18) will have evening rehearsals once a week for the musical numbers that are just for the teens. The teens will need to attend some Saturday’s but not every week. During our tech week we will put both groups together for a great final production. (If we do not have enough teens to feature, we will combine the cast and only hold Saturday rehearsals)

Wanting to get into the Holiday spirit, the gang meets at the soda shop to play some lively holiday tunes on the jukebox. Their singing and dancing enthusiasm is contagious. They hear some great stories from the Soda Shop owner Ruby told through old favorites and some new favorite songs that will get your feet tapping. When you add some great choreography, you have a wonderful holiday show. Drop by for a rockin good time with songs Frosty Hand Jive, Jingle bell Rock, Let it Snow, Sleigh Ride, Rudolph, Winter wonderland, Rockin Around the Christmas tree and many more.

The Downriver Actors Guild is committed to the continued growth and learning of diversity, equity, and inclusion. DAG casting teams and its directors are working to be intentional in addressing their implicit bias. We are striving to be inclusive of all diverse actors including race, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic status, body type, and ability. We recognize that many of these characters are written on the binary and gender non-conforming, genderqueer, transgender, and non-binary actors should be encouraged to submit for the roles they most identify with.
