Why Take Lessons?

We are so glad you are interested in pursuing voice, be it for a specific audition, personal passion, or professional goals. There are many reasons to take voice lessons, including improving singing by learning proper breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal placement, and how to project without strain, learning how to protect your vocal health, and in many cases expanding your range to reach higher and/or lower notes and to smooth the transition between different registers.

Lessons can also help improve ear training and rhythm execution, reduce stage anxiety, and how to better connect with an audience. Voice lessons can be taught in a variety of styles including classical, pop, musical theater, etc.

These lessons are completely customizable to the needs and desires of the voice student. But most importantly, you should take voice lessons for the love of singing!
