For the love of theater

The Downriver Actors Guild Theater group was organized for the benefit of members of the community to provide education, entertainment and exposure to cultural experiences.  The objectives of the organization are to produce the highest quality shows, to be a positive impact on our community, and to be an organization where everyone is welcome and has fun. We do this for the love of theater.

Downriver Dance Academy
For the love of dance

Downriver Dance Academy is committed to developing each student’s unique talent and to explore dance as a creative outlet.  Through expert instruction we allow students to tap into their individual artistry and inspire each dancer's creativity and imagination.  We encourage personal growth and maximize each student's potential.  We set goals individualized to each student's needs through a structured learning environment.  Our priority is to provide a safe, judgment-free space and encourage self-expression where students can be inspired to grow, learn, and express their creativity.

2nd St. Sound
For the love of music

2nd St. Sound is Downriver's premier A Cappella group.  Smooth harmonies and tight chords blend to create heaven for your ears. 2nd St. Sound takes you through original arrangements with songs from your favorite artists spanning all decades and genres.

For the love of media arts

Curtain Call is a look into the lives of performers and backstage talent alike at the Downriver Actors Guild and other local theaters. This is an open conversation about working in the theater and theater community. Nothing is held back. Join host Benjamin Apostle and Mishana Green as they pull the curtain back on the the most intriguing theater topics.
